Starting off 'Write'

Today we got to know each other better and received a copy of the syllabus. As a class we went over how to use e-learning and our e-mail accounts. During class each student sent me an introduction e-mail that explained who they are, what they want to get out of this class, and what their fears are about college. We discussed project 1 very briefly and students were assigned to attend Bronco Bash and get 6 flyers; of the 6 flyers, 3 must be good examples and 3 must be bad examples. The class syllabus is posted on the website and also e-learning. Assignments for the day were to attend Bronco Bash and pick up 6 flyers (3 good and 3 bad), purchase the textbook, and purchase a five-dollar copy card. All assignments are due Monday September 14th.
