Working on our E-mails

Today the class showed off their flyers' that they recreated and compared the new flyers to the old flyers. We then discussed how to properly format a professional e-mail and we went over common errors that were found in all of the e-mails. I also went over the second portion of project 1: the e-mail assignment and creating your own flyer. Students are to create an e-mail to the executive board of the organization of their flyer and in the e-mail they must provide constructive feedback on how to improve the flyer. More details regarding the e-mail assignment can be found on the project 1 handout. Students were also given directions on how to create their own product and make a flyer for the product. The assignments for Monday are to have a hardcopy of their e-mail and a rough draft the new flyer creation.
